You will redeem the bol.com gift voucher by clicking the blue 'Continue to order' button in your shopping cart. This will take you to the page where you can choose your delivery address, delivery time and payment method. To the right of your screen is an overview of the items you are ordering. Underneath it, you will see 'Add gift card' in blue letters.

The bol.com gift card is valid for 3 years after purchase. You can see how long this is via the balance checker.

In addition to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, these gift voucher conditions apply to gift vouchers issued by bol.com b.v. ("bol.com"). By using a bol.com gift voucher you accept these gift voucher conditions and commit yourself to comply with them.

1. These conditions apply to all gift vouchers issued by bol.com (both electronic and printed gift vouchers, paper gift vouchers and as gift cards) (hereinafter collectively: "Gift Vouchers") which are sold by bol.com and third parties designated by bol.com.
2. Each Gift Voucher is provided with a unique code. This can be a number code and/or pin code and/or text code. Each Gift Voucher is issued only once. You should keep the Gift Voucher (including the code) carefully. In case of theft (including use by unauthorised third parties of the code) or loss (including (accidental) deletion of e-mails), no compensation will be paid. Only original Gift Vouchers and codes can be used and should be provided to bol.com upon request. Bol.com reserves the right to accept a Gift Voucher only after receipt of the original Gift Voucher (in the case of electronic Gift Vouchers, the e-mail sent to you by bol.com or a third party designated by bol.com which contains the code) and, in the case of improper use, to request payment in cash. If a Gift Voucher was purchased from a third party, you should carefully retain the receipt and top-up certificate and present them to bol.com upon request.
3. To use a Gift Voucher, you should place your selected products in the "shopping cart". During the payment process, select "Gift Voucher" as your payment method and enter the exact code.
4. The nature, value, duration, expiry date and/or any applicable other specific terms of use can be found on the Gift Voucher and/or in the communication (e-mail) in which the code is included. Each Gift Voucher is valid for a certain period of time. After the expiry date, the Gift Voucher can no longer be used.
5. Gift Vouchers issued by bol.com and/or third parties designated by bol.com are only redeemable for purchases via www.bol.com.
6. Gift Vouchers cannot be used for open orders.
7. Gift Vouchers or their residual value are not redeemable for cash.
8. Gift vouchers are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Gift vouchers cannot be returned.
9. The residual value of the Gift Voucher can be used for subsequent orders. This value is visible in the user's account. The residual value is not transferable and can only be used from the same account where the first use of the Gift Voucher took place and during the validity period of the Gift Voucher.
10. For already used Gift Vouchers, all information regarding code, residual value and expiry date is also available via the account overview on the bol.com website.
11. If the total amount of the order exceeds the value of the used Gift Voucher(s), the difference should be paid by one of the other payment methods: giro collection form, credit card, discount code, iDEAL or Maestro.
12. If bol.com proceeds to refund (part of) the invoice value on the basis of Article 9.2 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, if payment has been made by giro collection form or credit card in addition to one or more Gift Vouchers, refunds will be made as far as possible by increasing the Gift Voucher Balance in your account. If this is not sufficient, the remainder will be refunded by means of a cash refund of the (remaining) amount paid by means of a giro collection form or credit card. If only one or more Gift Vouchers have been used for payment, refunds will be made by increasing the Gift Voucher Balance.
13. It is not permitted to alter, forge, undermine or otherwise damage Gift Vouchers or their operation (including hacking).
14. Any (attempted) fraud or other unauthorised act will be recorded and result in the use of Gift Vouchers being denied.
15. It is not allowed to use Gift Vouchers in any way for commercial purposes and/or purposes other than those for which they were issued.
16. These Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time. We recommend that you consult the Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions each time before using a Gift Voucher. If you continue to use Gift Vouchers after the changes take effect, you thereby accept the modified gift voucher conditions.
17. You can redeem an unlimited amount of Gift Vouchers per order or a combination of up to 1 discount code and an unlimited amount of Gift Vouchers.
